About the Event
In this event you will learn the basics of distilling on a traditional split column copper alembic (there will be a demo 10 Liter still in the classroom) and understand the difference between two products of distillation: essential oils and aromatic waters (hydrosols). You can sample dozens of high-quality essential oils and hydrosols, some of which will be available for sale.
Join the FREE/Donation Based series of classes "Aromatherapy and Flower Essences for Wellbeing" if you want to learn about crafting, sustainability, safety, potency, effectiveness, and healing abilities of the essential oils, hydrosols, and flower essences. You will learn the process of artisanal making as well as get the knowledge on how to integrate them into your daily and seasonal routines, for physical health, emotional healing, and spiritual growth.
The classes are suitable for all levels. They will allow you to understand and directly experience the effect of aromatherapy, flower essences, and meditation has on your body, mind, and especially on emotions. We will discuss a handful of self-care practices to incorporate into your modern-day high pace daily routine and learn to make your healing products.
April 9th: Hydrosols and Aromatic Waters: The Gentle Aromatherapy. You will learn how to distill for hydrosols, how to store and use these aromatic waters in skincare, to prevent and treat diseases, and for culinary purposes. Dozens of samples and Maitri Verde's artisanally distilled hydrosols will be available for purchase.
May 8th: Flower Essences: Psychotherapy In The Bottle. You will learn how to make flower essences using the traditional method as taught by Dr.Bach. Learn the rules and then enhance, boost, and make your remedies, making them even more potent using astrology, plant communication, meditation, crystal grids, and other creative energy tools.
ABOUT INSTRUCTOR: Anna is a healer, an artist, a gardener, a distiller, an alchemist, and a plant whisperer. Her path is deeply rooted in seeking to understand human pain and suffering. Her professional development occurred through her healing journey after decades of abusive relationships, limiting believes, eating disorders, and ongoing physical complaints.
On her way to healing the became a 200-RYT Hatha Yoga Instructor certified by YogaWorks, clinical aromatherapist certified by Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy and NAHA, certified Plant Spirit Herbalist, professional Flower Essence Therapy Practitioner trained by FES of California, Formulator of Botanical Body Care Products trained by New York Institute Of Aromatic Studies and Alice Duvernell (Biophilia Botanicals), artisanal plant distiller taught by Ann Harman and a Certified Usui Reiki practitioner. She is passionate about sharing knowledge and helping people to re-connect to their true essence and healing of the core wounds.
