Energetic Hygiene & Maintenance

As human beings, we radiate a very low level of electricity that’s otherwise known as an electromagnetic field. Ancient medical systems believe that this energy is expressed in seven layers of our aura field. Each layer is said to correlate to a different element of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. That is why energy clearing is such an essential part of our everyday routine.

As human beings, we radiate a very low level of electricity that’s otherwise known as an electromagnetic field. Ancient medical systems believe that this energy is expressed in seven layers of our aura field. Each layer is said to correlate to a different element of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. That is why energy clearing is such an essential part of our everyday routine!

Energy cleansing is not something you do just once. It is an ongoing activity. Because most of us are not educated in good energy maintenance, as we walk through our days we are bombarded with other people’s energy in the form of thoughts or emotions.

Your energy body is sticky, and things cling to it. If you don’t practice good energy hygiene, you will experience other people’s random energy clinging to you without you knowing it. That energy then affects you, changes you, and can even make you physically sick.

The regularity of energy clearing will vary from person to person. Extremely sensitive people or people who haven’t strengthened their boundaries might need daily practice.

Those who have stronger boundaries or whose circumstances help them manage their environmental energy more (such as those who live alone or work from a home office) may only need a weekly or monthly practice of spiritual cleansing.

Other times when you might want to cleanse your aura include:

- Before and during your spiritual practice (meditation, prayer, shamanic journey, yoga practice)

- Before starting and ending work (unless you work from home)

- Before and after having guests over

- After being sick or injured

- When you are staying in the hotel or sleep in somebody’s else house

- When you’ve returned home from a trip
